  1. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle’s food products are all made by artisan families based on the recipes of their family or community which they have been following since generations.

  2. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle’s food products are all handmade in small batches by passionate food artisans continuing their family and community traditions. They are not mass produced in an industrial unit.

  3. All the products are handmade and slight variations are normal in handmade food products. Raw materials like Mango, Gooseberry, Lime, Citron, Moringa Leaves, Coconut, Jaggery, spices etc are directly sourced from family owned estates and farms with specific characteristics depending on the harvest, Micro climate and Terroir of that particular region. Taste of such raw materials may vary from season to season due to the Terroir and various climatic conditions. Due to this reason, there may be a slight variation in the taste and colour food product made every year. This is what makes Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle a unique product.

  4. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle’s food products are all hygienically packed and sealed in glass jars/bottles only. We do not use any plastic Jars/bottles for any of our product.

  5. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle’s food products contain no preservatives, no added colours, no additives, no added taste enhancers, no vinegar and no added acetic acid. We use traditional Sun drying preservation techniques for mangoes for example and hence use very less salt.

  6. We at Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle believe in balanced taste and hence refrain from using too much salt and Red chilly powder for our food products. Some of our Sun Dried mango pickles have the least salt content compared to many other Pickle brands in India, both Industrialised mass pickle brands and homemade pickle brands.

  7. Some of our Pickles take almost a month to be made due to extensive labour oriented sun drying techniques. We just follow the time and tested age old sun drying techniques during the summer months. Some of our pickles are also stored for a few months before opening and bottling.

If you are allergic to any ingredient or raw material that goes in to manufacturing of any of our product, please do consult your Medical Doctor/Physician before consuming the same.   9. All the food products of Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle are perishable products. The Best before before date varies from 1 month to 2 years depending on the type of product and the production technique and ingredients used. Please read the description of the product, Ingredients, Nutrition and Best Before information before consumption of the product. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle will not be held liable for any problem whatsoever caused due to this negligence of not reading the information mentioned in the product labels and the website.

  10. Some of our Traditional Sun Dried Pickles like Rajapalayam Mango and Anakapalle Endaavakaya Mango pickle can be stored for 2-3 years and consumed much later as well as its completely safe. But due to legal requirements we have to mention one year validity from Date of packaging. Please do check the Best Before date before consumption of any of our food products. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle will not be held liable for any problem whatsoever caused due to this negligence of not reading the information mentioned in the product labels.

  11. All the products are for Moderate consumption. Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle will not be held liable for any problem arising out of over consumption of the products.

  12. Some Traditional Sun Dried Mango pickles are made during the summer mango season which is between March and August. Such pickles are made and stored for a few months to get the ideal balanced taste. Some pickles, all Podi’s, Chutney’s etc are made Fresh once in 2-3 weeks and certain food products are “Made to Order” only. Such details are clearly mentioned in the product description. Availability of all the products depends on the above mentioned clauses. We do not assure availability of all the products at any given time.

  13. Most of our traditional and Sun Dried Pickles are all Limited Edition pickles. Availability of all the products depends on the reasons mentioned in Point No 12. We do not assure availability of all the products at any given time.

  14. For very special products like the Anakapalle Kaya Avakaya Whole Mango Pickle, it is strictly “Made to Order” considering the difficulty in making it and the time taken to process and store the whole mango pickle. Hence this pickle should be ordered and reserved a few months in advance as the availability is limited.
