Panakam – Tradition in a Bottle’s homemade traditional Spicy Gun Powders (aka Chutney Powders/Milagai Podi’s), Dal Powders and other Podi’s for perfect accompaniments to South Indian Tiffins and Rice. Just add some ghee or oil to mix and have with your favourite tiffin or mix with hot steamed rice for a great comfort food experience.
Milagai Podi’s & Spicy Dal Powders are either fine or coarse dry powders which have a mixture of ground pulses/lentils/dals, dry spices, dried red chilli, sesame seeds and other ingredients with various combinations. It is traditionally used as a condiment for Idli’s, Dosa’s and other South Indian tiffins. The Dal Powders are also mixed with Hot steamed rice and Ghee. Some Podi’s can also be used for Cooking and garnishing any South Indian dish. Spice Mix/Masala Powders like Sambar Podi and Rasam Podi are used to make the perfect South Indian Sambar and Rasam.

Sambar Powder/ Podi is the masala mix of various ground spices and other ingredients used to make the most flavourful traditional South Indian Sambar. A great accompaniment to Idli, Dosa, Idiyappam and other South Indian Tiffins and with Hot steamed rice. Sambar Rice is a great comfort food for many South Indians. Sambar Rice can be paired with some fried Crispies/Vadams or Papads.

Ingredients:
Red Gram Dal, Bengal Gram Dal, Red Chilli, Jeera (Cumin), Pepper, Mustard, Fenugreek and Turmeric.
Contains no added preservatives, taste enhancers, colours or flavours.

Best Before:
6 months from the date of packaging under ideal storage conditions.

Usage Instructions:
Use the required quantity of Sambar Powder to make the most flavourful traditional South Indian Sambar. Sambar great accompaniment to Idli, Dosa, Idiyappam, Pongal and other South Indian Tiffins and with Hot steamed rice. Sambar Rice is a great comfort food for many South Indians. Sambar Rice can be paired with some homemade/handmade fried Crispies/Vadams from Panakam-Tradition in a Bottle’s offerings.

Storage & Precautions:
Keep away from direct sunlight. Store in a cool and dry place. Refrigeration not needed.
Always use a clean and completely dry spoon.

This Podi will be available anytime of the year. It is a “Made to Order” Podi and will be freshly made after order confirmation.

Shipment Time:
2-3 days for dispatch from the date of Order Confirmation subject to stock availability. We have
partnered with a reputed logistics partner and we deliver across India to all metros and certain non-metro cities as well.

Packaging & Shipping Cost:
We use only Glass Jars/Bottles for most of our products. The products are carefully packed for safe delivery and the packaging charge is included in the total cost of the product.

The Cost of the Product is exclusive of Shipping Charges. Shipping Charges will be automatically calculated according to the total weight of the order and shown during Checkout.

Delivery Time:
4-7 days for delivery to Metro cities and 7-15 working days for Non-Metro destinations. Delivery by Road.
